A young ag-entrepreneur is anyone involved in primary production, agri-business, value added processing, and/or students who fall between the ages of 18 to 40. Of course these are general guidelines, and we encourage involvement from anyone who is excited about the future of agriculture in Saskatchewan.
The Saskatchewan Young Ag-Entrepreneurs was started in 2006, modelled after the Canadian Young Farmers' Forum (CYFF).
Our goal is to provide networking, and training opportunities for young ag-entrepreneurs from Saskatchewan, both on a provincial and national level. These events foster the exchange of views and ideas, and the promotion of a sustainable agriculture industry.
